Clubul Ecomontan “Origini Verzi” (“GREEN ORIGINS” CLUB) was established in 1990 by a group of youngsters interested in nature conservation. The members implemented many action for environment protection and education for local communities and disadvantaged groups. The members are specialized in domains related to environment (forestry engineers, wild life protection, biologists etc) and in education, also for youngsters and adults. This NGO is established in North-Eastern part of Romania and was involved in promoting ecotourism in Carpathians and Transilvania. The Club also runs one dedicated web page (www.ecotourism.org.ro).
