I am an independent designer, scholar, and advisor with the speciality in branding, design management, and design strategy. I am currently a PhD candidate in Economic and Management Sciences program at the University of Algarve. My current line of research has the potential to contribute to both academic and professional understanding grounds of place branding, on deeper levels, by drilling down to process level. Beyond this, it has a certain effective impact on sustaining the economic, environmental, and social aspects of the process by focusing on a human-centred approach and involving a broader range of stakeholders by means of participatory place branding strategies while using globally inclusive design and technology frameworks.
