The destination has a system to monitor, prevent, publicly report, and respond to crime, safety, and health hazards. INDICATORS: • On-going compulsory inspections of fire, food hygiene, and electricity safety for tourism properties.
• Safety precautions such as first aid stations at beaches/tourist attraction sites.
• System to prevent and respond to crime.
• Taxi licensing system with clear pricing and an organized taxi dispatch system at points of visitor entry.
• Public reporting of safety and security.
