The destination has established and is implementing a multi-year tourism strategy that is publicly available, is suited to its scale, that considers environmental, economic, social, cultural heritage, quality, health, and safety, and aesthetic issues, and was developed with public participation. INDICATORS: • Multi-year tourism plan or strategy that includes a focus on sustainability and sustainable tourism and includes environmental, economic, social, cultural heritage, quality, health, and safety issues.
• Multi-year tourism plan or strategy that is up-to-date and publicly available.
• Multi-year tourism plan or strategy that was developed with public participation.
Political commitment to implement the multi-year tourism plan and evidence of implementation. |
