The destination has a system to monitor the environmental impact of tourism, conserve habitats, species, and ecosystems, and prevent the introduction of invasive species. INDICATORS: • Maintained and updated inventory of sensitive and threatened wildlife and habitats.
• Management system to monitor impacts and to protect ecosystems, sensitive environments, and species.
• System prevents the introduction of invasive species.
