Folder 2. ECOTRANS & DIG: Toolkit for Destinations in Europe

Internal Workshop at GNF office in Bonn, December 12,  2013

In January 2013 the Coastal Union, EDEN, Alpine Pearls and ECOTRANS formed a consortium for the further development and use of the DestiNet platform. A main objective is the development of a common toolkit for making destinations more sustainable and for improving their market opportunities. Meanwhile various tools have been developed and can be combined to a common toolkit. A further objective is to promote good practice examples - destinations & businesses - in partnership eith TravelMole/Visions through a common a award: the VISTAS.

Now these tools & the networks of committed destinations & ECOTRANS members and experts shall be brought together and discuss the steps towards a common toolkit for destinations.

The toolkit shall be presented with pilot destinations at ITB 2014 and then offered to destinations in Europe.
