Gastronomiebetriebe, die für die Bewerbung ihres fairen Angebots das FAIRTRADE-Siegel nutzen möchten, müssen sich als Gastronomiepartner registrieren und an die Werberichtlinien von FAIRTRADE Österreich halten. Die Partnerschaft wird jährlich verlängert und ist kostenlos. Gastronomiepartner von FAIRTRADE Österreich werden stichprobenhaft durch agro-Vet kontrolliert.
