 Actions for innovation:

The Pamir Eco-Cultural Touirsm Assosiation (PECTA) is active in promoting the opportunities of tourism in the Pamirs. This includes qualification tourism product development and marketing as well as distribution activities. On other focus is on infrastructure and service development especially in hygiene and sanitation. PECTA Charter asks members to protect nature and culture heritage

 Currently PECTA has 21 member and working with more that 85 home stays in the Pamir.

Specific/measurable results, benefits

The representative of PECTA has presented tourism opportunities of the region in International fairs, workshops and seminars on national and international level.


Through Familiarization trips new tour operators are focussing on the Pamirs – biggest success: the German study tour operator STUDIOSUS Reisen München has now Tajikistan and the Pamirs in their programme.


Collaboration with German tour operator DIAMIR Erlebnisreisen - Consultants for product development of new Mountaineering (Alpinism) and Trekking routs in the Pamir Mountains (cross border)
