International Conference for Decision Makers on Standards for Sustainable Tourism Development in the Middle East
At this conference first ever the “Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria” - launched at the Global Conservation Congress in Barcelona in October 2008 - will be introduced and used as guiding lines for the presentations and discussions. Key tourism players from Egypt and the Middle East region, international organizations and experts, and representatives of the tourism industry are invited to join. As result a common declaration is expected with concrete actions for increasing sustainable tourism in Egypt and in the Middle East Region.
