G-Guides, research and training institute always aims to promote responsible and sustainable tourist guiding with education, trainings and support. As such it is a duty and honour at the same time to recognize the efforts and work of all tourist guides who are connecting Worlds every day through their stories and guiding, of all tourist guides who support sustainable development of a destination and promote responsible consumption in tourism.
Tourist guides are cultural brokers, sustainability communicators, unforgettable experience creators, educators and ambassadors of sustainable tourism for all. They are voice of responsible tourism.
On 27th of September 2018, on a Worlds Tourism Day, first tourist guide, voice of responsible tourism, will be given the Green Microphone Award on the ceremony in the House of European Union in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
