<p style="text-align: left;" align="center"><span style="font-size: large;">Invitation to participate in the SECTEUR survey on climate information needs in the Tourism Sector</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">Climate change&nbsp;is seen by many as one of the most important current challenges for the sustainability of tourism.&nbsp; Its impact on tourism, and vice versa, requires fundamental changes in the way many destinations and businesses work. (See : <a href="http://tecconseil.cmail19.com/t/i-l-kkuttdd-xjihidhm-r/">DestiNet</a>).</span></p> <p></p> <p><span style="font-size: large;">This Survey ...</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">is part of the SECTEUR project (Sector Engagement for C3S - Translating European User Requirements) which aims to understand the requirements of climate information across a number of sectors: agriculture, forestry, coasts, health, transport, insurance ...<strong> and tourism.</strong> As partner of SECTEUR, the University of Leeds would like to invite you to complete an EU-wide online survey. Based on the survey results the <a href="http://tecconseil.cmail19.com/t/i-l-kkuttdd-xjihidhm-y/">Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S)</a> will develop and deliver quality assured information about the past, current and future states of the climate in Europe and worldwide.</span></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size: small;">As a result, this is an opportunity for you to help shape and tailor this service according to your organisation s climate information needs.</span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;">All responses will be kept anonymous and confidential. The survey will be open until 15th November 2016. November k&ouml;nnen sich Destinationen in Deutschland <a href="http://www.bundeswettbewerb-tourismusdestinationen.de/">online </a>f&uuml;r den Bundeswettbewerb 2016/17 bewerben.</strong></p> <p>Die Bewerbungsfrist endet am 31. Januar 2017. F&uuml;r besonderes Engagement in den Kategorien Nachhaltige Mobilit&auml;t, Klimaschutz/Ressourcen- und Energieeffizienz, Naturerlebnis und Biologische Vielfalt sowie Regionalit&auml;t werden Sonderpreise vergeben. Bundesumweltministerin Barbara Hendricks und <acronym title="Deutscher Tourismusverband">DTV</acronym>-Pr&auml;sident Reinhard Meyer werden die Siegerdestination und die Sonderpreistr&auml;ger am 17. Mai 2017 in Berlin <a href="http://www.bundeswettbewerb-tourismusdestinationen.de" target="_blank">auszeichnen.</a></p>
